went shopping (kinda) at bazaar in Rasta TTDI. came across a stall with robert rodriguez book. i giggled, knowing that i've read the book(thanks to mr.ari izra) and it was brand new (coz the book that i had looked like it came from the 18th century). then this kind stall owner approached me, "do you know this guy? do you recognize his films?" i quickly answered yes to all of her questions. she seemed excited so she asked how do i know him from. i explained i was a film student and that i was keen with his movies. later, she told me that she had this bunch of dvds (european movies) that maybe i'll be interested in. so i browsed the dvds she had given me. i was quickly drawn to a movie entitled Judex directed by Georges Franju. however, i didn't have the urge to buy it. i wanted to buy The Last Days of Disco because they had Chloe Sevigny in it. the stall owner recommended and literally urged me to get Judex instead (she explained her reasons until i heard the word "French Surrealism"). BINGO! i took it. she made an offer, 2 dvds and a few free items. whatta heck am i gonna do with those bunch of stuff? in my mind i just need my dvd and that's it! then she took out a fanzine. i'd browse through it, she made a deal. so i took 2 dvds, a fanzine, a cynical-political-fun lyrics and a brochure for rm27.

i took interest on my purchases, especially the fanzine. Title: Shorts by Azzief. so i read the first page, then the next and so on. honestly i was fascinated by the content. i have no idea how to really describe it, what i can say is that it was real and well written. so, checkout the dude @ http://violenterections.tumblr.com/

Mr. Azzief, you've gotten yourself a fan(not groupies-stalker-ish kinda way, he hee~!). keep up the writings and looking forward to read what you have to say after this =)
